Prescription Weight‑Loss Medications

Our providers tailor medication plans based on your goals, medical history, and metabolic profile. Options include:

  • Tirzepatide – A dual GIP/GLP‑1 agonist that supports appetite control, improved insulin sensitivity, and significant weight reduction.

  • Semaglutide – A GLP‑1 medication clinically shown to reduce hunger, enhance fullness, and support long‑term weight loss.

  • Phentermine – A short‑term appetite suppressant used to jump‑start weight loss under medical supervision.

  • Low‑Dose Naltrexone (LDN) – Helps regulate inflammation, cravings, and metabolic function.

  • Sermorelin – A growth‑hormone–stimulating peptide that may support fat loss, energy, and lean muscle development.

  • Contrave – A combination therapy targeting cravings and appetite regulation.

  • Qsymia – A dual‑action medication combining phentermine and topiramate for enhanced appetite control and metabolic support.

  • Tesamorelin - A compounded peptide therapy that stimulates natural growth hormone release, supporting visceral fat reduction, improved metabolism, and enhanced body composition.

How semaglutide works

Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications called GLP-1 receptor agonists. GLP-1 is a natural hormone your body already uses to regulate appetite, blood sugar, and metabolism. Semaglutide:

  • Slows how quickly food leaves your stomach, so you feel full longer and may find portions and snacking easier to manage

  • Helps your body release insulin when needed and reduces sudden blood-sugar spikes and crashes

  • Improves your body's response to insulin, helping your cells use energy from food efficiently

In the STEP 1 clinical trial, adults with obesity (or overweight with a weight-related condition) and without diabetes who took semaglutide 2.4 mg once weekly plus lifestyle counseling lost an average of 14.9% of their body weight over 68 weeks, compared with 2.4% for those on placebo (NEJM, 2021). Results in trials are averages; individual results vary, and medication is only one part of a successful program. That is exactly why we never prescribe it in isolation.

Like all medications, semaglutide has potential side effects — most commonly nausea, and sometimes vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation, especially early in treatment. Your evaluation and follow-up visits are where we review your personal risk factors, watch for side effects, and adjust your plan.

In‑Office IM Injections

Boost your metabolism, energy, and fat‑burning potential with targeted nutrient injections:

  • MICC (Methionine, Inositol, Choline, Cyanocobalamin) – Supports liver function, fat metabolism, and energy.

  • Lipo‑Plus – A blend of lipotropic agents and B‑vitamins for enhanced fat breakdown and metabolic support.

  • Fat‑Burner Injections – Formulated to accelerate fat loss, improve energy, and support workout recovery.

Nutrition & Lifestyle Optimization

Weight loss is more effective when paired with personalized nutrition and lifestyle strategies:

  • Protein‑First Nutrition Plans – Designed to stabilize blood sugar, reduce cravings, and preserve lean muscle.

  • Nutritional Coaching – Practical guidance to help you build sustainable habits and understand your metabolic needs.

Advanced Body Composition Tracking

Go beyond the scale with our Rebalance Body Composition Scan, which measures:

  • Body fat percentage

  • Visceral fat

  • Lean muscle mass

  • Hydration level

  • Metabolic indicators

This allows us to track meaningful progress and adjust your plan with precision — far more accurate than BMI or weight alone.

Losing weight is not simply a matter of willpower. Metabolism, hormones, appetite signals, and years of frustrated attempts all play a role. Our medical weight loss program combines GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide with personalized nutrition, health coaching, and ongoing monitoring — so your plan is built around your body and your life.

What the weight-loss program includes

Every weight loss plan at Rebalance Wellness begins with a comprehensive medical evaluation and is supported throughout.

  • Comprehensive initial evaluation — health history, goals, and lab work as indicated to make sure treatment is safe and appropriate for you

  • Body composition analysis — a professional-grade analyzer measures muscle mass, body fat percentage, visceral fat, metabolic rate, and hydration in just a few minutes, so your plan is based on data, not guesswork — and so you can track progress beyond the scale

  • Personalized nutrition planning — tailored dietary guidance (Mediterranean, low-carbohydrate, high-protein, plant-forward, and other evidence-based approaches) matched to your goals and preferences

  • Health coaching — practical support to build lasting habits around food, activity, sleep, and stress

  • Ongoing check-ins — regular monitoring to track your progress, manage any side effects, and adjust your plan as your body changes

Your plan may also incorporate metabolic-support injections and targeted peptides where appropriate — always as part of a comprehensive plan, never as a substitute for nutrition and lifestyle changes.
